What makes SilverlightClub Game Contest different ?
You may have noticed that several other gaming sites have started Silverlight Game contests. Here is some of the points that make SilverlightClub Game Contest different from others:
1. Every approved game is guaranteed to get a prize (which could be software licenses worth 100s of dollars, electronic gadgets or award certificates).
2. Every approved game is eligible for Google AdSense revenue share for a period of 2 years. After 2 years, you are welcome to discuss with us and further extend the revenue sharing period. We use Google AdSense APIs to share AdSense revenue.
3. Every approved game will be showcased in Silverlight Club which will give you publicity and exposure among gamers.
4. Every approved game will receive a participation certificate.
Competition Dates
The last date to submit the Silverlight Game or application for the competition is 31 July 2009.
The winners will be selected by a team of judges. Winners will be announced on 15 August 2009.
You may submit games and other interesting applications developed using Microsoft Silverlight technology. You must upload the .xap file and a screenshot of your application.
The following application types are allowed:
1. Games
2. Puzzles
3. Entertainment for Kids - Painting, Magic, Tricks
4. Learning activities
5. Other Fun/entertainment applications
What is NOT allowed ?Silverlight controls developed only for the purpose of marketing your company's products are not eligible for participation in game contests. (We may allow such controls on a small advertising FEE and will not be considered for gifts, awards and revenue sharing.)
Silverlight applications that include any kind of third party advertisement are NOT allowed.
Applications that has excessive advertisement of your own business or website are NOT allowed.
We follow a revenue sharing model based on Google AdSense API revenue sharing system.
In order to participate in this program, you must have a Google AdSense account. If you do not have one, you may create a Google AdSense account through SilverlightClub.com.
If your application is approved and published here, you will get 90% of the revenue from Google AdSense directly to your AdSense account. Remaining 10% of the revenue will be credited to our AdSense account. It is managed, tracked and paid by Google, so no worries for you and us.
Limitations of revenue sharing program1. You must have/get an approved AdSense account to participate in revenue sharing.
2. By default, you will get 90% revenue share from your hosted application pages for a period of 1 year. In case of applications hosted exclusively in this site or applications that have no reference to your own website, we can extend this period to 2 or more years.
